Re: Mickey Mac
I'm with Old Hooker. A Mickey Mac that's fully fit in terms of his injury and match fit too, I would welcome back but he's not going to be either of those things. Powell has done really well in Mickey's absence to I'd be sticking with it unless he too is carrying a knock.

Re: Message to Ian Lenagan
<t>Wane has taken this team as far as he can. Without a Harris or Deacon to steer the backs around, we're led by a prop who understands what it is to be a prop. There is so much more to rugby league than that. I'd settle for keeping Wane as the leader and the man who looked after the defence but we ...

Re: Worst Derby ever.
<t>Good post MPE. <br/> I do think that it is our right as fans to be upset and it is inevitable that a vituperative and scathing debrief will take place. The one thing that seems consistent is that we all want Wigan to be "better" or we need someone who can "create" etc etc. No one on here could br...

An average Wigan display felt 100% worse with that clown at the helm. Awful ref display. I can't even begin to list the things wrong with his performance. Head tackles (or not) and control around the ruck would be a start. The penalty against Charnley for an incorrect PTB was laughable.

Re: Matty outkicked Pat
His all round kicking game has improved hugely in the last month or so. Far more low raking kicks finding the ground (I refuse to say 'terra firma'!)
And he hasn't missed many conversions.

I really hope Smith isn't leaving. He may not be perfect but his commitment and professionalism are second to none.

Re: Just a thought
It's true. I would prefer a second hooker for the rest of this season if for nothing else but to give Powell a rest. But next season the two of them will rotate brilliantly. But you're right, they have been superb.

Re: Catalan game
<t>I too concur with Sutton and Isa. Neither of them our first (or even second) choice second rows and yet they did a phenomenal job. Really excited as to what Sutton could become, he's maturing into a brilliant forward. <br/> That Wigan academy just keeps churning out quality. Look at the kids we h...
