First post nails it for me. People say, he'll be better next season. Well, maybe. But I'm not holding my breath.
At the moment, and say what you will about the standard of SL, he looks one of the poorest full-backs in the comp.

Re: RYAN HAMPSHIRE
<t>Saying "if Smith had played we would have won" (although probably true) doesn't mean, or imply that<br/> <br/> a) Smith isn't a very average player who should be replaced, and<br/> <br/> b) There's no evidence to suggest that Hampshire could have done a"Matty Smith performance" anyway. He's hardl...

Re: C C final venue
<t>Much as a Cardiff final suits me (it's much nearer to me than London) and I loved seeing it there, the answer has to be no. We already have something we can move around the country: the Magic Weekend. Wembley is the home of the Challenge Cup, and I'm not too worried about a few empty rows in what...

Re: Sinfield named RFL rugby Director
<t>I'm pleased that a figure of Sinfield's stature is not being lost to the sport, too. And I don't think there's a point-missing going on either.<br/> <br/> The points about advertising, job descriptions, etc are not unreasonable ones to make, but again, hand on heart, would any of us be quibbling ...

Re: Wigan miserable
<r>Complete opposite of the truth in my limited experience. Certainly Wigan is a much happier place than my home town; you only have to spend a hour sitting outside a coffee-shop people-watching to see that few folk round here have a smile on their face.<br/> <br/> I came up with my son, who lives i...

Re: Serious Question
I can't really get a good enough internet feed where I am to watch the Sky coverage, so missed Gells on that - a shame.

Re: For those of you who think Wane can't coach
Can we put this thing to bed about watering the pitch? Is it something they are forced to do by the football people, or is it something they choose to do?
