Re: Referee

<t>Thought Bentham had one of his better games. The offsides weren't enforced, which is common, however I thought Hull got away with far to much messing about at the POTB - Holdsworth being one of the worst culprits. Had he clamped down on that, then the game might have been a bit more entertaining<...

Re: Wigan v Hull The Return

<t>Would think it will be a fairly niggly game as Hull will be frustrated with themselves about their performance at Wembley.<br/> <br/> Wouldn't be surprised if we lose - but given a choice between winning the CC and winning a super league round when our play spot is already confirmed is a complete...

Re: Sarginson signs for Wigan

Not exactly an awe inspiring signing from what I have seen of him this year.

Hopefully being amongst a higher standard of player will improve him - we'll have to wait and see

Re: Thornley or Gelling

<t>My memory of the worst signing in Wigan's recent history (on a cost vs return basis) is the same as Butt Monkey's.<br/> <br/> DV suffered a serious injury just before signing; however he came over anyway. From day one he was never on the pace, he looked disinterested, lazy and slow - apart from a...

Re: Confident for next week?

Not confident at all. It's not that we're losing, it's how we're losing.

The one saving grace is at least it won't be wire, stains or the whinoes lifting the cup next week.

Win or lose the CC next week, I don't see us doing anything in the play offs

Re: Charnley to Souths.

He's the league top try scorer and as we saw on Friday (and many other times) can create a try out of almost nothing and beat multiple defenders.

If the NRL want to sign the best players in SL - then Charnley is going to be close to the top of the list.

Please no - Shenton did nothing at stains, why would anyone think he would do any better here?

Re: X-factor players to-nite v Hudd - Aftermath thread

<t>Our form has gone out of the window and we look very limited in attack. Charnley's try aside (which was pure individual class), we looked predictable and Huddersfield rarely looked threatened. <br/> <br/> We are now two weeks away from the CC final and have to travel to France to try and find som...
